le lorrain

Architecture, interiors, and design studio founded by Nicolas Jonard in 2019, in the Maritime district of Molenbeek.

Nicolas Jonard is graduated of La Cambre-Horta (ULB), he collaborated in the past with various Brussels-based offices, including Lhoas & Lhoas, La Générale, and Vers.A, across a broad spectrum ranging from architecture to design, from public to domestic.

Since 2025, le lorrain is based beneath the vast industrial roof of La Vallée, a place where temporary use has become permanent, and where a diverse community of artists, architects, and creative entrepreneurs share workspaces, tools, and everyday life.

This context strongly shapes le lorrain architectural approach: collaborative by nature, attentive to reuse, rooted in interdisciplinary and collective making rather than isolated authorship.
